About Us.......................

We are based in East Devon and have been breeding Bichon Frise puppies for many years. In 2005 I joined the KC accredited breeder scheme - my aim was always to produce happy, confident puppies as close to the breed standard as possible - In the Summer of 2005 we bought home two wonderful British Shorthair Cats - Lola and Cosmo. I would like to say thank you to Susan Newman (Moormist British) for allowing us to have two lovely cats to share our home.

Shortly after Lola and Cosmo joined our family Daisy and Willow also came - from Kent (Jean Wolfe - of the wonderful Bumpkin Cats)

I have had help, kind advice and a lot of fun with Freda Matthias - who has encouraged me and of course is the breeder of both Louie and Cryses Love Actually

Originally the cats came to join us just as pets - but I found them utterly charmimg

and

just out of interest I started going to shows with my dear friend Bronwen (Gooderick British) and the rest as they say..............................................................................

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Veldes Carnell of Misskin British - Veldes has been my main inspiration and a good friend - and whenever I have a need to check myself - it is Veldes who keeps me straight.

Whilst I love to show my cats and adore having kittens, all our cats and dogs are pets first and foremostly. We all live indoors, have regular walks and kittens are born in our bedroom.

The increase in cat population in this house coincided with my son leaving home. He has taken to calling me crazy cat lady - and I am not sure that he is joking. Every night before I go to sleep, I pray, at the moment my prayers include, my lovely son who together with his girlfriend Katie has just moved home to Devon and has joined my husband at our family farm and my beloved Mother who has bravely taken up residence in her new home.
